Profile: Jean-Marc Gulliet

Personal background
In a previous life, I used to be a computer consultant in France and Europe for 15 years. Two years ago, I crossed the Atlantic to start a new life in America as a student :-) I spent my first semester in San Diego, CA, studying English and brushing my academic skills. Then, I moved to New York City. I live in Brooklyn, and study economics at NYU.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have not make up my mind yet about whether extraterrestrial life exists. However, as an apprentice social scientist, I am excited to participate to such a project and also fascinated by the kind of highly-distributed architecture used to compute the data.
