Personal background
I'm 30 years old very young man from Czech republic. I spent 10 years on two universities (mechanical engineering and mathematical informatics). I like to learn languages (unfortunately English not so much), to fly with paraglide, to ride my motorcycle or fast cars. My work is to develop sofware for some kind of simulators. I like books. And I also like mud (internet game). I have many hobbies: play guitar(15years), mandoline, philosophy, fantasy(the greatest gift for mankind), country (go to forest and sleep there, and be there some time alone), and so on.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes, extraterrestrial life exists. The distancies in the space are unlimited. Some very very vrey small possibility of extraterrestrial life
is there. If you multiply infinity with very very vrey small percent number, it is one. But I'm not sure that extraterrestrial life will arrive in time which the humankind have on this planet. Or if we catch to develop any kind of travelling through universe which lead us into so far climes of universe.

2. We can transmit a beacon for others, of course. It should be enough to send anything which can say: it is not natural signal...

3. I mean that it can be very useful to stay scanning the happening around us, receive informations about space around and potencionally any extraterrestrial life. And I can help! It is enough.
