| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I believe that out of all the stars in the universe, the likelyhood of our planet being the one and only planet with intelligent lifeforms resident is extremely slim. There have to be more out there somewhere... it's our job to find them. I think we should invest more in expanding our scientific research efforts on all fronts in relation to space travel, research, intelligence, etc. I use S@H because distributed processing projects (crypto, etc) are a hobby, and it's a waste to let all that processing power go unused when it could be assisting somewhere else. |
