I think extraterrestrial life does exist ... there's just too much space, too many worlds, too many suns for the right ingredients for the recipie of life not to exist.
Granted, it will be quite rare ... and *intelligent* life even more rare ... and intelligent life with a suffcient technology base capable of using some sort of communication mechanism that we're capable of receiving and responding to will be a minute fraction of that number, but still, I believe it exists. |
