My name is Daryl Marcum, I'm from Glasgow Kentucky and I have loved seti since I was a little boy. I'm now 52 and I still love seti. I like to look at the night sky and I do a lot of camping. I also keep up the the ISS project and watch NASA tv all the time.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I would hate to think we are the ultimate in intelligent life in the universe.
I think we should send a beacon out for others to find but im afarid of what we would do to them after we found them. A simple greetings from earth ( im not really sure we havent already done that and been answered) A major west viriginia telescope shut down back in the 80's and project blue book has been declassified so.............draw your own conclusions.
I run seti @home hoping that maybe one day I will be the one to actually help find other life forms. I really dont care if anyone else even knows about it, just for my own personal satifaction.
