Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do not see why not running SETI@home.
It is something nobody did before. So it has to be done. Plus I think that research is less and less possible as an individual. More and more big team are envolved, and why not the whole world. Research is done for everybody understanding better the universe, so envoling every body is a great idea.

Are other life forms somewhere out there ? Yes I am sure. Even I believe that there is life every where. Now, does this life form have the same way then us of communicating, of thinking. That is an other matter. Already on earth we, humans, have a lot of difficulties communicating with other species. So communicating with extra-terrestrial life forms seem to me even more difficult.

But we never looked out there, so we need to look. What can we discover, I do no think that we know. But I believe that we will discover something. I would not be supprised that we manage to listen to our proper noise. Understanding a bit better the universe will certainly be achieved.
