| Hello I live in a small town about 20 miles from Fort Knox (where all the gold is), Kentucky. I am 47 years old and just married the woman of my dreams, after living with her for the last 10 years. We have a one child, a son who is 12 years old going on 21. My one and only hobby, and the biggest passion in my life is tournament BASS fishing. I currently am a member of four local BASS clubs where I fish almost every Saturday and Sunday during the warmer months of the year. I fish about 60-80 tournaments annually. These include 25 weekly night tournaments and 15 to 20 Open tournaments (these are open to all anglers not just club members). My goal is to get good enough to fish and win one of the large BASS series tournaments like the Bassmasters, Everstart, or Citgo Series. My fishing partner and I do very well in the local club tournaments. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Why do I run SETI@home on my computers? Mankind to exist, as we know it, must find a way to travel to a further star to exist. If not, we are doomed in a few thousand years if not sooner. At the rate we are using up our natural resources, and damaging this planet it would be in our best interest to find/contact another more advanced lifeform. They mightbe able to help us return our planet back to a state where it might be able to recover from the damage we have caused. It only makes sense to use the idle time of my computer for something that might benefit all of mankind. Besides I just wanna meet ET!!!Does life exist beyond our planet? Who knows???...but I like being a part of the team that is attempting to find out. What are the benefits of finding (life forms) out side of our planet? We will not know unless we find them, but look at all the knowledge that is being gained in our attempt to find out. There are Millions of people from around the world, people of different races, languages, ethnic and religious backrounds, people with more differences than things in common. We have all come together here with the common goal to help with the Search |
