Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes I'm sure extraterrestrial life exists. The other alternative is too depressing. I dont think we will see any for a long time. I would imagine that they think the same as us, and therefore only listen. I think if they send a probe at us it will only be a probe and not tell us a great deal. It is still worth listening out though just in case....
Just a thought - What if we are the first race to develop technology? We have plenty of "intelligent" life here on earth but we are the only ones who have developed technology. Someone has to be first. Why not us?
