| Hey everyone. I live in the great state of Wisconsin. Home of the Frozen Tundra - Lambeau Field, which hosts the Green Bay Packers football team. My wife and I love to ride our 2001 Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster's any chance we get. I've been doing the computer seen for over 15 years and am currently a multi-hatted Network Admin (including- Oracle DBA, UNIX Admin, SAP BASIS, CISCO, Lan/Wan Admin, Windows9x/NT/2000/XP) just to name the important ones. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I started to run SETI@home when it first became available on a multitude of platforms after hearing about it on the web.
2. I find it interesting that we (human race) can come together on a global project like this and work toward a common goal. It is to bad we can not take this type of collaboration and apply it to other areas of our lives.
3. The thought that 'we are not alone' is a good one to have. It keeps things in perspective. I am sure that in one way or another, we have sent many signals to outer space. |
