Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? Logically I would tend to believe it does. I have no persoanl experience that would weigh towards that conclusion however.
If so, when and how will humans discover it? The more we seek, the greater the odds we shall find.
What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery? Food for thought, however, I believe the potential benefits will far outweigh any liabilities.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? The RF spectrum exists already as a becon for intellegent life ... watching our television signals and radio content, may well explain why we've NOT been contacted directly.
If so, what information should we send? Voyager did it right.
Why do you run SETI@home? Because the Truth is Out There ... it's an obligation to the inquiring mind.
What are your views about the project? Positive and valuable.
