Personal background
I was born April 6, 1965. I live in Atlanta, GA. I'm a field service technician that deals with high speed digital duplicators (right now). I want to get into the computer field and I've taken the MCSE2000 and CCNA classes, but not the tests. I'm the rare and elusive computer geek that enjoys sports (football, hockey, sailing, F1, CART) and throwing back a few pints. I also think that I'm smarter than everyone else, but that's my problem to deal with. (hey, people are stupid) I enjoy music from Metallica to Beethoven to Buffett. I like fine wines and cigars in addition to the previously mentioned beer. My wife and I own two Cardigan Welsh Corgis, one of which is a new blue merle puppy. We call him Enzo after Mr. Ferrari. Anyway, that's my short story and I'm sticking to it. Monk
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I obviously believe in ET. Would anyone run the program if not? I love the Seti@Home program. It makes for a useful screen saver that becomes a conversation piece at gatherings and parties. I try to tell as many people about the program that I can in hopes that the more of us that use it, the sooner we can find those little green men. I would like to see that in my lifetime. "Can I go back with you guys?" Monk
