The SPECTROsoftware company was founded in 1997. There was only one person working on a single PC at the beginning. Since then it grew up to a company with 8 programmers and more than 20 CPUs running. Some of them are processing SETI-packages around the clock.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Every person in our company has got an opinion about extraterrestrial life, but the reason why we are running SETI on our PCs is quite simple: We can test if the system is running after working on maximum level for a longer time.
