Hello, My name is Hector Roman Jr., I was born in Brooklyn, New York. I am currently living in a "Tropical Paradise", The Caribbean Island of Puerto Rico. I'm in the town of Arecibo, located approximately 45 miles West of the Capital City of San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am 48 years of age, Married with Carmen A. Beauchamp. We have three boys, Hector, Jeffrey and Richard.
I work with Ensysa Products Mfg., Inc. located in Hato Rey, P.R. In the Customer Service Department.
Ensysa is a SERVICE Oriented Company, providing various type of services in the Caribbean. Such as fabricatons, repairs, machining, welding, and testing of Safety relief valves for Pharmacuetical, Petro-chemical and Power Generation Plants.
Hobbies: I enjoy Ham Radio and the internet.

Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
Maybe or Maybe not. That's why we have joined all together to find the answer. "If not" we will search for something else unknown to us!
When and how will humans discover it?
I have no idea, But, my wildest guess would be within the the next fifty years, if the money lasts to run this program. Someday someone inside a space station will give us the answer.
What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
Let's wait and see!
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
Yep! Someone out there would be curious!
If so, what information should we send?
How should I know? Maybe some type of Music, Blues, Jazz or maybe the Mars Concert "Mythodea"
Why do you run SETI@home?
I don't want to be left out."IF" SOMETHING IS OUT THERE, I want to be part of it. It's like a grain of sand in the beach. I want to support those that Live for this Program and at the same time say, Thanks!!
