i'm a human not an alien, 28 years old staying in the fabulous city of bombay in india. I am interested in dotcoms,internet,new gadgets,gizmos,space,alien life.
Since i am on the internet nearly 24/7(always),NO i am not a geek or a tech engineer, i only have a masters in business administration, well you can find me watching webcams, chatting, surfing, researching, building a dotcom or helping someone build one. | Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Think about this:-
years ago people used striking stones for lighting, today we use electricity,
years ago people took horse/camel/donkey back travel,today we use trains/planes
years ago people used stones to carve images on caves, today we use computers.
yesterday verus today, nothing changed except our perceptions,
Today we think aliens cannot exists in the same way people didnt think about electricity or trains and jet planes, and computers existence way back then. today we take these things for granted.
Someday we will be having interplanetary travels the same way we have a bus ride today. It's only a matter of time,when this happens.I say aliens do exists because of simple reason. god made such a huge earth, people thought it to be a square. People never knew continents existed, When we took so long to discover our ownselves dont you think we arent even capable enough to think a little "outofthebox" and imagine life existence out there.Other wise it would all be a "BIG WASTE OF SPACE". When god didnt waste any inch on earth, why would it be done in space itself ?
Aliens could be smarter than us, dumber than us. Our normal human perception is such that any foreign material or human is always smarter than us. Aliens no matter where they are may be dumber than we suppose. Thats why its upto us to find them out where they are hiding out there within those millions of galaxies and planets.may be they dont the color of earth to visit it so freuently, who knows?
I'm happy to note seti@home provides a platform to participate in such an activity and am very gald to be a part of it.
Like a wise man once said " who am i but a grain of sand in the sands of time, the ocean of truth lies beyond me yonder". In our case our planet = grain of sand in the sands of time, the ocean of truth lies beyond our imagination.
