Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have always held an interest in Astronomy and I believe that in the vast Universe that we live in there must be other life. The dangers of discovering other life can easily be summed up in our societies unrelenting attitudes to different races ideas and religions which most certainly cloud our views of other intelligent species we may someday encounter it may be that is precisely why we don't have a record of contact from other life forms because of our own inability to accept all members of the human race.
