Profile: R.J.Sinclair

Personal background
I was born on d-day June 6,1944 When the average person had not even heard of computers. Tv was just coming into being. If you were intrested in space you studied the stars. When I was a young boy we would use a slide rule to figure out a complacated math problem. We talked about the man on the moon. I Never thought I would be looking for other life forms in the universe, using a computer. I am retired from the Army; I work part time for the State of Maryland as a drivers license examiner. I have seen a lot of changes in my life and the way things are moving I will see a lot more.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I donot think we are the onely life form. When the time is right contact will be made. I feel we are the biggest danger to ourselves. We plant time capsule's all over this planet; why shouldn't we send out a beacon? I would think general information about the earth, it's people and it's technology. I find it intresting looking for other life forms.
