Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I like how the hunt is conducted by spreading the work around to thousands of PCs throughout the world. Its a great idea and I'm looking forward to seeing this sort of problem solving used in other areas as well.
Its not unrealistic to think that there could be intelligent life on the planet of some other solar system. We are an inquisitive species and have the ability to gaze into the sky in wonder so why not just have a little look?
