Attorney, animal rights and environmental activist, Progressive Democrat, civil libertarian, political consultant, campaign manager, fundraiser, motorcyclist, sailor, and pilot. I collect antique furniture and classic motorcycles (My Profile photo is a 1954 Model C Vincent Black Shadow, a sisterbike to mine).
Partial to Classic Rock, single malt Scotch, Skoal Long Cut Straight and veggie burgers.
My wife, Carrie, (a professional violinist) earned her PhD at USC. My son, Mac, 17, is an accomplished pianist. We live in Juniper Hills, CA (in the foothills of the Southern Mojave Desert) on a 38 acre horse ranch. We have over 150 horses, most of whom were rescued from slaughter.
