Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I think extraterrestrial life exists? You never know, you know.
Should we transmit? We already are. I don't think the content is all that important--they've seen our entertainment, we've already been labeled 'primitive'.
I run SETI@home because I believe it's a noble experiment. One that can remind us that we may not be so all important as we seem to believe we are.
