| I am a Tech Support Engineer for a major DSL provider. I enjoy fishing, target shooting, Four Wheeling and basically anything outdoors. I also enjoy playing on my computer and that does include games. I am usually seen playing Red Alert or Yuri's Revenge and every once in a while Quake Arena. My favorite place to fish is the Deschutes River in Northern Oregon. I love standing waste deep in the river, fly rod in hand and listening to the stillness of what's around. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I do believe that life exhists elsewhere. It is my opinion that there must be life out there somewhere and only the arrogance of mankind would sway someone to think otherwise. I do believe that we should transmit a beacon for others to find. The beacon should contain a message of peace in every known lamguage. I run Seti@home to help in anyway I can. I know that getting funding for such a project can be tough and since I have limited resources to donate, I choose to donate in this manner. I alo donate my computer resources in the hopes that the world will realize that infomation sharing is the only way to a true world peace. If we can speed up progress as well, then all the better. My only suggestion that I can think of would be to have token give away's to entice people to join in. It may sway a few more to help.
