Profile: Nurse Olga

Personal background
9I was born in 1922 to aristocratic parents who lived in a castle in the Bavarian Alps.My father,Duke Schwartzenager, was a strong believer in physical fitness and started my training early in life by enrolling me and my brother Ollie in baby boxing tournaments.Although I suffered no long term affects from being thrust into this type of athletic competition, my brother was not so fortunate and has spent much of his later life dealing with the consequences of taking one too many blows to the head.
9I lead a sheltered and privileged life until 1936 when my father squandered the family fortune, using it to manufacture 60,000 joke "ski-pole through the head" hats of which only five were ever sold to the general public. The family had to sell the castle to pay off the mounting debts created by this entrepreneurial fiasco and move into smaller accommodation. At the tender age of 16 I was forced to work in a Bavarian "toss the hat at the antlers" game to help support my family. Unfortunately, this type of work was only available when the circus was in town, so in the winter months I picked up a little extra money by selling hats that I created out of bread for local bird watching enthusiasts who used them to help attract rare species. An unfortunate accident in the town square involving my headwear, a local townsperson and several hundred ravenous pigeons changed the course of my life. The tragedy, which I felt in some way responsible for, motivated me to dedicate the rest of my life to helping the sick and injured. After emmigrating to America,I became a WAV and started receiving training in both nursing and astronomy. The physical requirements of basic training were something that I found I enjoyed and I still practice to this day.My intense workout regime helps me to keep in great condition for my age.It also comes in handy when having to deal with unruly patients at the Clinic. If you want to catch up on more of my facinating life story you can find just what you are looking for at http://mysite.freeserve.com/teamnews
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't know whether there is life out there or not.All I do know is that whilst other people think there may be and use the SETI@Home software, there will always be SETI-Holics coming to my Clinic for me to care for and look after in my own, very personal way. If you are feeling the mental strain caused by running SETI@Home on your PC please come and see me at http://home.columbus.rr.com/theehlens/ .I promise you, you won't regret it.
