| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I have this eerie - absolutely unscientific - feeling, that we are actually alone. Which is probably better than the alternative, since the discovery of signals of intelligent origin from space would probably trigger global religious unrest. Nonetheless, I'm running SETI@home because we need to find out. An inconvenient truth sure beats uncertainty. |
