Do I think it likely there are countless other intelligent life forms in the universe? Yes. Is it likely many of them are attempting communications in ways the SETI@home project would detect? I'm not so sure. But on the chance that they are, is it worth my computer's idle time to make the confirmation happen a minute or two earlier? You bet.
