Hello
My name is Silviu Vulcan and I'm from Romania. I discovered Seti@Home for some time but back then I didn't have the spare CPU cycles to offer. But some month ago I discovered that the server here and my Linux workstation are around 99% idle so I decided to offer this to the Seti@Home project. One of my colegues (the one that told me about Seti@Home at the time I owned a DX4 100Mhz) has also remembered and put his 1,2Ghz Athlon to work. I knew about the Seti project for many years and with Seti@Home I am very happy that I can help even by a little bit...

I do think that extraterestrial life exist. It's easy. Infinite Univers gives us Infinite Combinations, that gives us actually infinite life forms...easy isn't it? ;)
I don't know (if ever?) when we will discover them (or they us) but I think that it would show the many of us how small we are compared to the Universe and maybe will give many of us second thoughts about the benefits of interracial hate, religion caused wars e.t.c. |
