Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

I believe in all the usual cliche's, debt to science, Humanity etc.

But also living in Australia all my life. The country that actually lives up to
all the old american youth cinema icon's on how to treat anyone with a brain
who dosent play footie. Or to be more global village aware the axis
of evil (Bush, howard & Blair) i feel there has to be inteligent life
out there some where not much round here.

I feel the project has brought science back to the people and allowed many to
feel they have contributed, with the addition of the new projects under
the BOINC system making this even more so for the more grounded
down to earth types.

We work in the dark
We do what we can
We give what we have
Our doubt is our passion, and our passion is our task
The rest is the madness of art.
