Personal background |
I'm a 27 years old electrical engineer from Hungary. I live in a medium-sized town in the countryside. I'm the manager and majority owner of a small software company. We develop solutions such as database backends and control software for embedded systems.
I'm interested in mathematics, physics, astronomy, ontology (philosophy of existence) and the hermetic knowledge. I've also done some research to integrate them using a common system of concepts. I'm asked to give a review of my research about two times a year.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
According to my research I'm quite sure, that extraterrestrial life can exist in the Universe. Extraterrestrial life can be discovered if humans can survive their "stupidity" on Earth. There could be other forms of communication than electromagnetic waves, so some hope will remain after the radio search failed. Both of benefits and dangers could be inestimable and invaluable.
Humans are able to transmit a relatively low power beacon with limited information. The simplest (binary) encoding of small (128x128) pictures should be preferred. High visual redundancy (mirrors of the same image) is needed to ensure data integrity. Formalism of physics should not be used, but basic math and images of natural phenomena must be represented. We should concentrate on scientific knowledge.
I run SETI@Home @ home, because I hope this search will be successful due to some kind of "Divine Fortune". The project is great, so currently I've no suggestions. |
