| Hi. My name is Dan, and I live in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. I am 49 years young, and holding!! I am a heavy equipment operator by trade, but have been in the wood working industry for the past 12 years. My current occupation is manufacturing wooden kitchen cabinet doors. I have been a member of the Cowichan Valley Starfinders Club for the past ten years. Have always been interested in "Whats out there"! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I have always thought that it would be unlikely that we would be the only beings in this vast amount of space. With so much room, we must have neighbors out there someplace. I think we will make contact within the next ten to twenty years with the way our technology is advancing at such a rapid pace. I have been running Seti@home for the past three years. It is my way of making a contribution to such a wonderful cause!! Hey! You never know!! One day it may be my computer that finds that elusive signal we all want to see or hear!! |
