Personal background
I am a computer technician Crunching SETI on my Work Station. I learned of SETI from my brother in-law who worked at JPL. I live in the Arizona Dust Bowl and love it here.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. If we are here, why can't they be there?
1a.In the next 100 years, maybe when we go to Mars.
1b.Benefits are knowledge of other species, dangers are our fear and ignorance of the unknown which is the cause of most of the worlds problems.

2. Yes, whats the worst that could happen. Some other life form destroys us and Darwin is proven correct, again.

3.To help the Scientific Research community better the human race.
Great project, good idea, more science groups should harness this idea of public help.
No suggestions at this time, but if I think of something I will post it.
