Personal background
Hi!!
I'm a 30-year-old electronics engineer working on spaceborne devices here in Spain. As you can guess
I have a deep interest in everything related with space and space exploration, that's why I'm
helping Seti@Home.

In my (limited) free time I try to help children in social danger with a children association
founded by my wife and associated to Save The Children. Now I have started a new project
that consists in having my own baby, it should be easy after ten years working with children ;-).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ET life exists, that's an statistical fact. The problem with statistics is that they are
not as deterministic as one may want. Working in the space bussiness, sending space probes to other planets, is for me one
of the greatest thrills, as I consider that the space is the next step in human evolution.
And one way of politely giving that step is trying to contact with the possible inhabitants of that space.

I've heard a lot of "bad alien movies" messages saying that the aliens may follow
our beacons to conquer us. Honestly, I don't mind entering the galactic enciclopaedia
as "Humans: Long extinguished race that was so naïve as to send beacons that allowed
their detection and conquer".
