I believe the only logical opinion a person can have towards this is that "I don't know"
to state with certainty that Extra-terrestrial life exists is no different than those who state the opposite;
neither have any hard facts to base their positions on. It's the same position I take as to God's existence.
SETI does however have the fact that life exists here and the vastness of the universe in favor of it's argument,
so I am on the only logical side to be on: The search for evidence.
Seti@home is a wonderful idea, it gives a chance for individuals, with minimal effort to be a part of the
search. I only wish I had heard about this program sooner.
