I am a software design engineer working on commercial server operating systems. Beyond that, I enjoy watching and participating in theater. The attached picture is me as the character "Eugene" from my most recent play.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do not believe in extraterrestrial life. I believe that this project will prove that no evidence is available and two possible conclusions will be apparent:
1. Intelligent life does not exist beyond earth.
2. We are limited by our current technology to discover life beyond earth.
By participating, I hope to provide more evidence that conclusion one is fact and conclusion two is less of a possibility.
Beyond that, I think it is a great feat in computer science.
