Hi My name is Niels Kager aka "Nicolas Kalsjnikov"
I'm born and raised in the Netherlands where I still live today.
In daily life I'm a platoon commander in the Dutch armed Forces with the rank of LT. My platoon consists of 4 Main Battle tanks, the German build Leopard 2A5. I command the platoon from one of them, with help from 3 sergeants in the other tanks.
The leopard 2A5 is a tank wich can compete with the best in the world, including the American Abrahms.
For the rest My hobbies are my French wife and two Cats and deep sea diving, preferably wreck diving. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Personaly I have an open mind conserning ET's. Taking the law of numbers into account, it's almost impossible that there isn't. However I cannot go into the when and how, maybe ET has already found us, and is laughing behind our backs. It's also possible that they are so different from us that communication is nigh on impossible.
I don't think humans should transmit a beacon. We're sending enough EM-beams as it is. No use sending information no alien is likley to understand. anyway where would you point the beam? I don't think we should use research funds on transmitting anything anywhere.
Mostly I'm running Seti because I'm a statistic lover period. furthermore I like to help the search (just in case!!!!!!) |
