I'm 42 years old and come from 26382 wilhelmshaven in northern germany. I'm married since 1980 and i have 5 kids. since 01.08.2001 i study for two years to
became a IT - Programmer. Computer and all things around it is my favourite hobby. I've often heard something about seti but i see it first in the internet. That was in 1999 and after downloading the seti-programm i start to work with my old pentium I at 200 MHz. That means over 24 hour for one datablock. But now with my new PC it goes in 7 - 8 hours. That's much better.
It's a great feeling to help you and i know i will go on.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
For me it is a fact that extraterrestrial life exists. And some day the whole world will see it.
I think we should send something about our friendly and peaceful way of life. (Believe me, it exists too)
It's a great thing for me to found out that and were extraterrestrial life does exist and if we found someone outside, i hope it will be friendly.
