I'm 44 I live in Il. and drive a school bus for a living, K thru 8th grade, I like to bowl and play video games (multiplayer on pc) and in summer I like to go boating!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes I do and i think by what they are doing now (listening to signals from space) and as far as benefits there could be many like the cure for diseases and famin and the dangers could be....well just watch Independance Day :=))
2. I don't think a beacon matters because of all the radio and tv signals out there now and if there is someone out there they are probably doing about the same as we are here.
3. I do it because if they do find something I can say I helped!! (sorta)
I think it's a good idea (saves alot of man time and pc time)
