I am both a web developer and a professional illustrator who has worked both sides of the fence for many years now. I am a big s-f and fantasy fan, though my first love is comics. I have had the fortune of working on many comics and game suppliments for companies such as Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Steve Jackson Games, I.C.E., and many others.
My full time gig these days it web development. I am the web designer for Election Systems & Software, and my responsibilities include web design and application development. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I have always believed that there is a possibility of life on other planets, though being able to communicate to them may require somethng much different than the means to which we try to talk to the stars today. Hopefully, radio signals are a common thing for all civilizations. I have dreamed that we would be able to find friendly forms of life somewhere out there, and hope I am lucky enough to see the day when we meet our cosmic neighbors.
I have run Seti@Home for over three years, though my current stats do not reflect that (someone needs to seriously revamp the "password" process here... i lost over a thousand credits because the e-mail account i used when I first loaded Seti@Home onto my machine is now a thing of the past). I find that by helping analyze the data we collect i feel in some small way i am helping. |
