Profile: Pete Moseley

Personal background
Hi,

I'm Pete Moseley (34), and British.

I am a soil and water engineer, and run my own business integrating solutions for clients who want technology to go that little bit further for them.

My hobbies include movies, books (mainly Tom Clancy), lego robotics and remote controlled cars, plus anything gadgety.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope that extraterestrial life exists, it would certainly be nice to find out anyway (and if there is life elsewhere in the universe, I hope they're friendly!). I think we should transmit a beacon for other lifeforms to interpret, which could include information about what we are and how we work.

I run seti at home because I am interested in the project, and its a good way of using the spare resource of my PC which has to be on all the time anyway.
