Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Of course ET life exists! Unknown when it will be discovered. They may
already have visited in times past or be now. Benefit of discovery? Would be
increasing our knowledge base. Dangers? Running into a race
that wants to pillage us or worse.

2. We have no choice on this one. We've been transmitting for a long time
already. We are allready "out there".

3. It is the BEST use of spare computer time I can think of.
It's worth leaving the PC on all day and half the night. Wish I had
another one to set up. Views on the project? It's fantastic and
a great thing so long as Bush keeps his
hand off the plug. Suggestions? Keep working !
