Personal background
Greetings. "Ex Astris Scientia" - "From the Stars, Knowledge" I am a 21 year old male from North America. I have been interested in extraterrestrial life since childhood. My hobbies are mainly indulging in the wonders of existence and skywatching. I take my telescope (A Newtonian Reflector) out every clear night. My interest in Astronomy originally came from watching Star Trek. I was intrigued at the prospect of the infinite life that exists out there. I am currently out of school but am planning on returning to attain a degree in Astronomy and a Masters in Astrophysics. I believe the extent of human ingenuity and evolution is slowing down and we need to divert more resources to reaching out to our universe. There is more to existence than just planet Earth. If we as a species can move beyond our own short-sightedness we can truly move on to a deeper understanding of our universe around us. Ad Astra Per Aspera - Through Our Endeavors, The Stars
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI is one of the the few enlightened programs the human race has come up with. If only the rest of the world realized the potential of these great people who day after day look for something more. Audentes Fortuna Juvat - Fortune Favors the Bold
