Profile: Dr. Jean-Guy Rioux, Jr.

Personal background
As far as I can remember I have always been an avid science fiction enthusiast. I am a fervent radio-amateur, passionate student of fly-fishing, and eager learner of abotech (aborigines’ technologies).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Q1a. Why not, it is sad to believe that we, humans, would have such a monopoly in such a vast universe.
Q1b. Humans have not done well in "discovering" others on this planet - maybe we should let others find us.
Q1c. Humans
Q2a. Yes.
Q2b. The true, as a warning...
3a/b. Good project, worthwhile use of idling time.
