Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that the Extraterrestrial life exist in the space, may be in our solar system. I think that "life" is inside in the materia and everywhere, in the space, where there is materia, is possible for life born and grow up in a lot of cases.
I think that we never discover ETI, because the universe is too large (space and time) for our life and for the life of our population.
Universe think at light speeed and with million years times.
For us an universe time is like a little move of a butterfly's wing, too little to found another butterfy like us in the same time and in the same space.
It will be more easy to found traces of others ETI than to meet them !!!
I think that we aren't ready to meet another ETI.
We look too much at war, weapons, every discovery is made for war (and to damage other people) and only after a lot of time to improve our life ... a contact will be a danger for our life and for the life of ETI.
We will transmit a beacon of our presence here, but I don't know the type of this beacon ...
I run Seti@home for a dream, the dream to found a trace of another ETI in our universe ...

Ciao !!!
