I'm Derk from the Netherlands (Twente). I'm 31 years old and about 4 years member of Seti@home, so almost 10% of my life! My greatest hobby's are the computer/internet and scuba-diving.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run Seti@home, because I like to explore the unknown. Space, underwater, etc. I would love to live the moment when earth makes first contact with aliens. There are so many stars and possibly many more planets that statisticly there must be others in the universe, even intelligent and more advanced as us, but where are they? Is the distance the problem? Or could it be that if aliens are advanced enough to travel to earth, they will be smart enough to avoid contact ;-) |
