Personal background
I'm Kadi, from Media, PA. I play drums in a Rock band based out of the Philadelphia area (http://glasshouseband.tripod.com) and I'm 18 years old. My current major in college is elementary education, and maybe a minor in music, i haven't made up my mind completely on it yet, but i intend to persue my music career as much as I can before I'm too old to do anything with the drums. It's what I do best!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I do believe life outside of our existence exists. The time that we will ever discover such creatures, I couldn't even begin to think of, but if we do find anything out there, they could be dangerous. Think of it like this, we survive through breathing oxygen, fish survive inthe water, with oxygen, what if there are other creatures that survive by inhaling cabon monoxide, maybe even sulfuric gases. Perhaps we brought these creatures to this planet, those creatures would die if not kept in a certain facility with their "living standards." Thus the end result, not being able to comunicate with dead creatures.

2. It's only fair if we do. We sit here hoping that others are transmitting signals. It's not right to be a take-take society, I'm sure we had to give up somethings to achieve what we have achieved today.

3. I run it because it interestes me. I first saw it running among computers at school and decided to bring it to my computer as well.
