Personal background
Hello fellow SETI users. I'm Anthony-- a 23 year old born and bread Oregonian. I'm a machinest with a degree in Manufacturing Eng. and i've worked on many sub parts for NASA and the government. I've made parts for the X-33 shudle and other parts for the delta rockets to name a few. I have always had an interest in E.T. and am now finally doing something to help the greater side of humanity with discovering other life.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I feel that SETI is a great project, for humanity can benifet from finding other life. It's great to use other peoples prossesors to do this for it give a sense of unity in the science world that will be needed in the finding of E.T. I guess this refers to the thought that a human is not dangerouse in things of this nature-- however- humans (plural) are deadly to that of wich isn't understood. With SETI i feel that this takes from the "humas" facture and gives these findings a chance to be digested on a personal level that will not destroy it. And in this---- I feel that SETI is great and will help find extra life without killing it, in a maner of saying.
