Personal background
HELLO!
My name is William and I live in the United States. I work in IT Systems Engineering

I live in a wonderful area surrounded by mountains with my wife and four children. We love to camp, fish and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. One of our current projects is to build a large telescope to view the night sky when we are camping. I will upload pics when we have completed the project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that we are not alone in this vast universe. As to if we should transmit a beacon into space that others might observe. We are already doing just that; with our Television, Satellite and Radio broadcasts. I believe that any truly advanced civilization would be able to intercept and study us at length from these radio emissions alone.

I also believe that Seti At Home has become an interesting study in the largest distributed application project in the world's history and as we share this information across borders and languages we become closer as a human species. What a concept! One earth; one united group of people.
If I were to suggest one change for the Seti at home project it would be to; start asking for contributions for a radio telescope on the dark side of the moon.
