Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial life exist ... no doubt. I just wouldn't be amazed if they didn't want to talk to us. If the US goverment get their hands on one of them we all know what would happen ... :) (If it didn't happen already!!)
Humans should transmit a beacon hell yes ... the information should be simple but important something like .... "we are humans ... we fuck things up ... and don't learn from history .... keep away ... or help us if you like a challenge!"
Reasons to run Seti: 1. Prove how strong we are when all the nerds get together.
2. Make this project a success so that next we can send that beacon!
