Personal background
I am a Spanish citizen born at basque country (this is at the noth of spain). I'm working at Oracle as technical manager. Because I am physicist (I was studied that at University), I'm interested on scientifics programs and I heared about SETI log time ago.
I use Seti@home on my home network (3 Pc's from pentium 60mhz to PentiumIII) and my office laptop too, using unused time to do somethig util (I suppose).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I never see God, and I don't beleve on.
I never see ET, but there are more posibilities to find one of them than to have a meeting with Him.
Then, I use a couple of watts and a short time to look Seti Site to see if somebody asks us about 1 1.
There are millions of stars shining across time, and, why not, it is possible that life begins in other place.
I doubt we'd ever detect their signals unless they came nearby.
I think our chance of detect radio wave lies with a large antenna array (say, the size of the moon), or using an interferometer net around the Sun at saturnor's orbit (it should be possible with time). In the interin, I use sety@home to try a little on the search.
No more about this.
More scientific data and links about astronomical issues are wellcome (not for me, but other are looking at seti site too).
Thanks in advance.
