I'm really sure that there is other intelligent life form out there.
But i'm not sure if they look human - since there are not really much planets
with the same 'configuration' like earth, i don't think that other life
forms would have evolved like us.
The first contact to another species will take a long time, since human are
just too much occupied in fighting against themselves and are unable to resolve
their own problems in their own world - instead of concentrating in evolution
and science, they only concentrate in getting power over others and discriminate
other human races.
If we get peace on earth (everywhere, not only in the 'first world countries)
then we can expect the possibility to contact other life forms from outer space.
