Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Given the vastness of space it is reasonable to believe that we are not alone. The question is how far away are they and at what level of development.

The project is clearly interesting as I have been involved since 2000. I am concerned that we have had no possible signal which could be an actual transmission but given the vastness of space and the distances of the galaxies it is not unexpected.

Given the number of the number of participants involved it would be good to send an email out from time to time as to the progress and areas of space covered.
