Profile: GAEMON

Personal background
We are a Spanish small business. We are computer technicians and engineers below 30 years of age (well, not for too long). Few people and many small servers = too much idle time for our computers. That's why we joined this fascinating project.

We live in Galicia, a beautiful region at the North West of the country. A must visit if you come to Spain.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There are too many worlds out there. If only one out of a million of them held life, and yet only one out of a million of these ones should host intelligent beings, there still would be millions of planets populated with such life forms. That's why we believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life. SETI@home may or may not help us to find them, but it's a very useful project anyway, because it provides a tool to understand better the origin and nature of the Universe. Not only that, it has also given a big twist to the concept of distributed computing. Keep up the good work!
