Why do you run SETI@home?
There is two diff. aspects to this project.
First there is the pure techinical part... could it work ?
yeah it does work.. :)
second there is the part about ET's... it would be fun to be part of an idea - if nothing else comes from it....
Thoughts about ETI
This part is so large that i could write long and hard and still wouldnt have said it all...
But yes, i do belive they are out there...
As to why we havent heard from them yet... maybe we are some of the first in our galaxy to get to a "mature" state.
maybe - just maybe we are just to dangerous to be around with our neuclear weapons and such.. could it be that we have been put on a "observation list" ? Do we kill usself or not ??
As they say in Contact : it would be a vast of space if we are alone...
